Hinton divisional recap......

Hinton was a great race once again with drivers from as far away as Oklahoma competing over the weekend........

Chris Johnson of CVRA deserves credit for doing months pf pre-race promotion with the West Virginia State Water Festival Committee. Also the new LED Clock worked great.

Hopefully our club will post results soon but briefly the only Region 4 Divisional Qualifier is Herb Lamphear in CSH. Max Ascernio won over a 10 boat field of ASH's but he is out of the Division. We had 8 20ssh's however only 7 got off the beach so no Divisional Qualifier.

Thanks to Doc Miller for making the long trip with Braxton and company!!

Pond cup

The Pond Cup was awarded to the winner of Saturday's ASH feature. ASH was the largest class with 10 boats and hence Max Ascernio was the winner and received the perpetual trophy at the banquet/ awards dinner. Gary Pond, Marsha, Abby and Aimie were all their to present the award.

Travis motor

The motor that Herb Lanphear used to win CSH was a Travis Pond Y102 that we purchased a couple years back. Like to think Herb had a little extra push.
