Dud is fine, he and Matt are in far north OKC. It is total devastation 4 miles south of my shop (Boat City Prop Shop). This looks to be the worst tornado in recorded history. Never thought we would see anything like May 3, 1999 ever again. But, it came close to taking the same path. Ripping up concrete foundations out of the ground as it pulled some really nice large brick homes away. The most amazing site is the large trench in the ground. It's like it dug a river where buildings and grass and homes once stood. This is going to be a long recovery process, thankfully Oklahomans have come together and they (24 hours later) are already turning away excess supplies and volunteers. Thanks for all the phone calls and texts from our boat racing family. We are all good. Bryan and Kristy

Andy works in Moore but he is OK. Says he missed it by about 20 minutes.

                Tornado

Here in Seattle we are about as far away from Oklahoma as you can get....but the carnage is front page news in the local papers and broadcast news. We sure don't have to worry about tornados here....just the occasional earthquake and stuff....my heart goes out to the people that lost everything in the storm. I sure hope nobody in the boat racing family has been hurt. What I find just stunning from the pics taken is the fact that one house is totaly destroyed, right down to the foundation...but a house 30 feet from it looks untouched. How is that possible. Oh ya....on a side note....not to make matters any worse...but the Westboro Babtist church is going to picket funerals of those killed in the storm. Something about Kevin Durant from the NBA Thunder donating one million dollars to relief efforts....he is friends with the NBA player that came out of the closet. Oh dear god. Take care everybody.

One of our local churches here in McPherson, Kansas is gathering
food items and other supplies to take to Moore. We are about 3 hours
                      north of Moore..

Hey guys, Rick Morris is good, he lives just east of my shop. Jerry Dillard passed away several years ago. Thanks again for thinking of us. Found out today that one of our old friends we raced sprint cars with (father and son) lost both their homes and their shop, the big rig, all their sprint cars, motors, chassis, spare parts, everything. I am not sure how you insure race cars? We sure as heck never did. Hopefully homeowners will help out because it is staggering the amount of $$$ that they had blown away.
