Heard from Billy. Did not participate, but a Lady friend of his had just finished ans was a hundred yards beyond when the bombs went off. She was shaken, but otherwise fine.Comment

Sad situation all around. My family hosts a marathon, called the Eisenhower Marathon,
in Abilene, Kansas for the last 11 years.. I guess now we have to think about
having a stepped up security... My thoughts and prayers go out to all involved in setting up such a great marathon in Boston.
