In August of 2005 I learned what it's like to get ejected off a bike. In my case it was a road bike (bicycle). It happened in a split second and without warning. As I was flying though the air, the thought went through my mind, "I can't believe this is happening." Not a fun experience, for sure. Separated shoulder. 6 weeks of recovery. Worst part was I couldn't ride for 6 weeks!
