First trailer for the 2013 Film "Become One". A quick look at what is going to be an in depth karting documentary that will feature drivers from all over the world racing Stock Moto, Rotax, TaG, and Cadet karts across 4 of the years most fun events. Summer Nationals in Utah at Miller Motorsports Park, Rock Island Grand Prix in the streets of Rock Island Illinois, Streets of Lancaster in California, & the big finale in Las Vegas Nevada at the Super Nationals. We interview people from all ages and verses paired with breathtaking images to show people that karting has evolved significantly from its humble beginnings. 100+ MPH machines that wear you out mentally and strain you physically.

Making a video can..CAN be a powerful tool. or the same Video can be completely useless for anything other than pointing at it and saying see look what we did. It comes down to how you get the video out to the public. The best vid in the world is useless without getting it out to those who know nothing of the sport.
While I think keeping the bickering in Social media is wise over all. It as a medium is way under utilized to promote this sport. Although a few people do make the effort.
Now to contradict myself
One of the better social media marketers I know, would say my comment on bickering misses the mark. Controversy drives interest in anything up. The more love it or hate it (polarized) something is the more talking about it and sharing it escalates in social media. Christ we would probably get more following the more drama is involved ( as sad as I personally think that is! ) The thing about truly utilizing Social media as an outlet is that it it takes very consistent and nearly constant input to drive the engine.
one other thought.. how can someone come up with a racing vid that goes viral? A viral vid, besides the obvious everyone sees it, becomes a pretty good source of revenue if it gets big enough to have google (or whoever) wanting to advertize on it.
Although I admit it would take staged stunts or something along those lines to make it happen. Cause it sure would not be the finish of A stock hydro or even D mod at the nationals to go viral.
