MHRA featured in the Grand Rapids Boat Show Feb. 13-17!

The Michigan Hydroplane Racing Association is proud to announce our participation in the Grand Rapids Boat Show (http://www.showspan.com/GRB/Home.aspx) February 13-17th. Come by and check us out as we participate in a West Michigan tradition that has been going on for 68 years.

We'll be promoting our racing events for the 2013 season, our sponsors, Stock and Junior Outboard Racing, and most importantly, our Racer Schools for this year.

Show dates and times are:
Wednesday, February 13 3pm - 9:30pm
Thursday, February 14 3pm - 9:30pm
Friday, February 15 11am - 9:30pm
Saturday, February 16 10am - 9pm
Sunday, February 17 11am - 6pm

Adults are $10, Kids $4

Club members have worked hard to put together a great display at this years show. Hats off people! Now comes the bait and hook. Reel them in for the racer school and watch the membership grow.

Great Job

Well I managed to get up to the G.R. show this Sunday morning to see how club members were doing with the MHRA display. The results were very positive. LOTS of traffic thru the display. Lots of families showing interest with children. The MHRA crew were allowing kids to have their pictures taken in a "J" hydro to take home with a drivers school post card with racer schools dates and contact info. Over 50 people had signed the "interest to take racer school classes" and for a chance to win a fully paid racer school class thru MHRA. Great job club members for this very sucessful week at the Gand Rapids show!

Thanks to all the MHRA members that helped out putting on a great show and we have had a lot of people that want to try our school and seek the thrill of Stock Outboard Racing. I see Bigger and Better things in the future of our sport.
