  • Saddnes in Region Five Again

Region Five has barely recovered from the loss of one of it's outstanding members, Katey Billiter, when today I received the shocking news of the passing of her youngest son Trebor. Trebor, a mountain of a man, and one of the toughest 500 hydro drivers to ever crawl into a boat. I do not know any of the arrangements yet, but when I do they will be passed along.
Join with me in extending our prayer to Roger at this most difficult time.

            Treb

We all grew up together with Treb and the Billiter family at the races. Many fun times over the years. I will never forget the time Treb, myself, My brother Tom and Jerry Kirts flew to Las Vegas before the 1982 Bakersfield Pro Nationals. Treb was playing blackjack and was up $1,500 when we left him at the table around midnight. He came back to the room about 2 am laughing. When we asked what happened he said he lost it all, but got alot of free drinks. Treb always had a smile on his face and a BUD LIGHT in his hand. GOD BLESS TREBOR JAY. Tim and Tom Small

Trebor was always fun to be around. Quick witted, and the first to laugh at someone elses antics...........if he thought they were funny. True competitor, great driver, and wonderful friend even though we hadn't seen each other in years, this is how I will remember him. Race in Peace, my friend.
