  • Apba Website

Is anyone besides me having a difficult time trying to join Apba on-line. Can't get the membership option to open. Any insight would be appreciated.

    Thanks.

website is kind of mommicked up at the moment. I get "page not found" banner but the page is there and I can click & go to other areas. Found Membership App under "resources" but it is a pdf file and I didn't see a way to do the deal online.

New look website, hopefully will be tweaked soon to smooth it out. Race Schedule page is total doo-doo. APBA needs to pick that up with a pooper scooper and redo it.

Bill & Rabbit, You use the "about APBA" link to find memberships. However, I tried to renew mine and it is not working. I guess I would like a direct number to call and renew that way.....

I also am having trouble. Once I click renew membership and everything is selected from the previous year I select save categories then it goes to a membership etras screen it has membership addons (all blank), participating options (all blank) and boat registration (has my classes checked already. I click save extras then checkout and the cost comes up zero.

        What am I doing wrong

A contact number on the web site would be a very welcome option.

No flames needed Sam in my opinion the site is a bit over whelming. As the tag line suggest the site is trying to be "everything thing powerboat racing" which was a huge mistake.

Less is more and a more stream line approach should have been taken. As it stands the current format is a navigation nightmare. It is a known fact in the web designing world that you have only a few seconds of the viewers attention before they click away.

                    J pages

I was looking at the J class and found the 60 J and the OMC listed as the motors. I guess they dont want us to run the Merc 15 that they sell ???

                        APBA website

Went to the site around 3 this afternoon, and opened the site. It opened ok, and Yes,there was a banner saying "page not found", but the pull down menus still functioned for me.
I renewed my membership after figuring out the pull downs. I also got a confirmation number.
Score69: to get to the forums, from the home page, click on resources,
then click on the link "APBA SOCIAL"

                            Alex

From this site click on APBA download page. THEN click on "Resources" on the Tool Bar. Then pick your poison from the pull downs.
From what I see Alex only the 2011 Mod tech manual and the 2012 Racing rules are all that's available so far.
