Now that racing is over for the season it's time for some other water activities. Went fishing Wed before Thanksgiving, caught some nice Red fish, Sheephead, and trout. Did I mention it was 80 degrees! Might go again Sat. but it's cooled off to 70.

We were going surf fishing this weekend - off the beach at Fort Macon. Good fishing there seeing as the Beaufort Inlet tide sweeps the fish into range. But alas, we're dog sitting. Course I could walk across the street with a little rod and flip spinners out into the pond. Or hike about 1/4 mile to the creek that comes out of the National forest and chunk a wad of raw meat out there - might catch a small alligator! I hear they taste like chikin . . .carpetbagger

bluegill slaughter
last summer after nationals wyatt & i spent a week with my parents at their lake house just south of cadillac mi. this little mess of fish was the daily ritual. sure was nice that wyatt could bait his own hook (sorta) this year. if he could only learn to fillet them.Attached FilesBill Dingman "The road to hell is paved with good intentions."
