    E-Bay block

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Tohat...item23102a9139

Looks like this is a "Loop charged" motor........

Anyone in NBRA play'n with one?

I have a early Yamaha 25 looper with points and single carb that looks alot like a 22 OMC that looks like a 25mod candidate with a chamber.

Unfortunately they and the tohatsu/Nissan 25's seem to be rare/low numbers on e-bay and as 2-strokes are probably out'a production?........Alex/Russian?

Yes ,this is probably mindless "Prattle"......but always look'n for 25MOD candidates......would be a shame fer this class to disappear?

      Tohatsu Mega 25

The Tohatsu Mega 25 was a de-tuned 3 cylinder M40D. The M40D is the de-tuned version of the M50D being used for the Bass Tohatsu "D" motor. All of these versions have the same cubic inches. It's production was short lived (as I remember 1 to 2 years) and only distributed in Louisiana. It had 4 reed leafs per cylinder instead of 6, carbs were smaller, timing retarded, etc, etc. to produce 25 HP. Obviously many legal issues came up because most of these were converted to 40 specs and run under the 25 cowl. Hope this answers some of your questions.
