i was driving back to my office and driving on rt 70 and never felt it. wife felt it at the house and said it was scary, she flet it in her feet. the grandkids however thought it was neat.
Felt it here in Green Lane, PA. Never experienced an earthquake before. Didn't know at first what the heck was happening. It was definitely unnerving. The whole house was shaking for about 30 seconds. Thankfully, there was no noticeable damage.
I was working in my in-laws garage & felt nothing, my wife came out & said she felt it so right there I'm wondering.. LoLs Then a minute later I noticed the pool water looked like my sons were doing cannonballs, no one was in. My daughter said my house shook. Im in central Jersey so still never 'experienced' an earthquake. The last one I remember 15 or so years ago was a 3.4 didn't notice that either. We've had thunder shake the foundations pretty good lately.
Being from Seattle I know the feeling of being in an earthquake....we had a very large one 10 years ago called the Nisqually quake.....did considerable damage to some older buildings in downtown Seattle, and virtually destroyed one of the best race sites we had, Capitol Lake, near the epicenter, Olympia, Washington. I live in Kirkland, just east of Seattle, and there was a very large crack right down the center of my apartment building....both ends of building settled 2 inches....Scary stuff. Dave
