It's a great Trama-2 Hospital by the way. They saved the life of a snowmobile friend of ours 2 years ago which we still thank the good lord for.

Only boatracers would drive 100 miles to reach out to a fellow racer in the hospital. Kudos to Team Zolkar....class act all around!

    Get well soon Shannon.

          Shannon Update

Joe Zolkoske & I visited Shannon last night. First, Shannon wants to say thank you to everyone for everything the racing community has done. He is very grateful & appreciative. Shannon looks fantastic and I could not believe he just had bi-pass heart surgery 2 days prior. He is still in a lot of pain and told us 2 hour before we got there he was having a rough time. He is working very hard (painful) with the respiratory therapy exercises and the RT said he is doing great. Shannon along with his sister will be staying in Wausau, Wisconsin until next Wednesday. Craig is driving the rig home.
FYI – Shannon has built over 600 boats along with 150 boat kits since the days of doing the grunt work for Sid (Sid Craft Boats). Hopefully he and his son can build a new J Hydro soon!

Shannon... Be sure to do everything the Dr. tells you to do. Boat racing needs you to be around for a long time. You are in our prayers for a speedy recovery.

                      A New Cheesehead---

                      Hi Shannon---

Being in Wisconsin that long makes you an honorary CHEESEHEAD. I was in the turn boat with you at Loch Haven a few years ago and enjoyed swapping boat race stories and learning about your boat building history. Glad your on the mend and hope our paths cross again.

I grew up 30 miles so. of Wausau in Stevens Point. Beautiful country up there.

                      Catch ya later,

                      Bruce V-81
