  • You heard if first on HR

To all my Region 6 especially Ohio racing friends. I just got an email from my brother with a link informing me that Yuengling is now going to be available in Ohio, possibly by October.

I guess I'll have to break out my wallet and start buying better beer than Genesse. (That one is for Skippy, cause I know he hates Genny)

Good grief! Ohio doesn't have Yuengling? Even backazzward Swampy Corners in Eastern Carolina has Yuengling.

      Rick,

If I had known you had a taste for " Yuengs ", I would have kept you
supplied! We have plenty here in W Pa. I can bring you a case or 2,3...10? to Akron in July.

Flavors: Trad Lager (Amber), Premium Lager (Gold), Porter (Dark),
Black and Tan (Mixture of Premium Lager and Porter).
There is also Chesterfield Ale, but I have only seen it in
      the Holiday Sampler.
      Oh Yeah...........Light............

Hey Doug thanks for the offer. My daughter would usually bring me home a case when she would visit from Harrisburg. She hasn't been home for awhile. I would have to hide it to make sure Skippy couldn't find it. Sometimes I'd bury a few in the back of the fridge behind the Genny. Skippy's dislike for Genny would halt his search for a cold beer. It's going to be really great to finally go to a local restaurant or bar, ask for one and actually have the waiter or waitress know what I'm talking about. I like the traditional lager and the black and tan.

Now if they would just bring it to Texas, I'd be a happy camper. A few years ago on my way to Jesup I stopped at Pensacola Naval Air Station and they had it on tap. I almost didn't make it to Jesup the next day. The Navy guys just kept buying rounds. I guess they wanted to see the Air Force puke perform. Jack
