Bill, hoping for a speedy recovery. I went through something like this a year ago. Everything will be fine with you. A little sore for a while but time heals all wounds. You should be up and around shortly and back at the races. .....Bob & Don Rusnak N-96 N-9

                    Wednesday update from Brenda....

Evening, Called by 9:30 this morning, trying to find if I could bring in anything for him. He did not make sense, talked to nurse, he has been complaining that he does not sleep at night, Suggested that family stay home today, and see if he could sleep . Called nurse again at 3pm and he slept all day. At 7pm before nurse left for day, said woke him for supper and they talked. Nurse is from Tenn. and they had a chat about Sparta and that area. Nurse is 90% sure that his confusion was caused by his not sleeping at night. Hope they give him something for tonite, cause other than that he will be bright eyed and bushy tailed. Other than that everything is same o same o. Still in ICU. Take care...
                    Brenda

                        I recall that day.
                        You did a wonderful recovery.

                        -and regarding Bill;
-how can he sleep with that girl from TN bothering him all the time
I am sure 'Green Flag Giles ' can handle the situation.

I have been talking to him via e-mail.
He is at home, under Brenda's watchful care,
and says he does not think he will get racing again this year,
-in spite of his good start to this season

He said Fathers Day was not quite up to snuff,
as Brenda would not let him go dancing.

I am sure he would like e-msgs and calls from friends

                              updaate- 24 June

                              Hi ALL,
Things are looking better. I am up to 7 telephone poles out and back, but the chair sure is appreciated, upon return~! The chest and arm muscles are very noticable but hurt no worse than being in a good foorball game, when I was young~! I will clearly state that my days of chasing rooster-tails are over. The doc & Brenda (& me) think it would be wise to stop and go on to another level of life ( Is there?) I have used my time lately to arrange to try snow-birding again this next winter. Maybe running ( right) on the beach in Senebel Island will toughen me up again. Thank you for all your prayers and positive thoughts for me. My Doctor feels it really helps to have this kind of support. I am very lucky to have you all!
                              Sincerely,
                              Bill
