  • Bill Rosado

I noticed the birthday list and couldn't go with out saying Happy Birthday to Bill Rosado! Bill was a great racer and talented tuner. He could create a winner from nothing.... tinkering and hard work!
I was hoping I might see you in Lake Alfred last month.

Thank you Peter, I have been following what you and your son have been doing. Glad to see you being successful with him. It is a lot of fun to teach your son and be successful together.

Ken is down this way now, maybe I'll show up with him at one of the races down here.

      A Little Late

Hey Billy, wishing you a little late - belated Birthday wish. It been a while since we've talked, hope everything been going great for you in Florida and glad to hear Kenny is down there now. I know he was looking forward to it. Great to know the ROSADO Boys are taking care of the Sunshine State. One of these days I'm going to make it back over there for another race and we'll have to do a little catchin' up.

              Passionate Driver

I've always admired Billy's driving. I remember the '65 (I think) Nationals at Beaver Falls, PA. Billy had what was probably the fastest AU in the country and won both heats on the water, but was DQ'ed for being over by 3'. In anger he just about smashed his fist through the deck of his Clark Craft. Definitely a passionate driver. A couple of years later he had his Clark Craft, KG4, and best prop for sale for $600 and I thought to myself, I'll never be able to afford that. Big mistake.
