                      Hey-Hey! I was a Seabee too! NMCB-25! 1985-1991

Today at work, A co-worker shook my hand and said "Thank you!"
I said, "what for?" He replied, "For your service to your country!"
He caught me off guard, but it sure felt good to hear.

Hey, my old man was a SeaBee in WWII... welder in New Guinea and New Caledonia... loved the sea and ships.

By the time Vietnam came around, the SeaBees were full up and required a trade... I, being a new journalism grad didn't interest them... so, helicopters and the Green Machine was my pick.

                          SeaBees are cool... "Can Do"

I am a day late but never will forget all who have done so much to protect our freedom and way of life! To those that have and read this, my sincerest thanks!
When it comes to boat racing and the wife, it's easier to ask for forgiveness than it is permission, and of course I spent a number of nights sleeping on the couch!
