  • Michigan Fall AOMCI meet

It's that time of year again folks. Yes the 5th annual annual Antique Outboard meet at Mark and Elain Suters is this Saturday Nov. 6th and it will be even better than last years (if that's possible). If you have never been to this meet make a point to attend. Stock and racing engines of all kinds will be on dispaly along with some great looking restored race boats. Mark and Elain roll out the red carpet for all those attending.

Co-sponsored by the AOMCI Great Lakes & Wolverine Chapters
    Saturday, November 6th , 2010 from 9:00AM until 3:00PM
At the home of Elaine & Mark Suter
    4368 E. Braden Road, Byron, MI 48418

Hosted by Elaine & Mark Suter
Situated in two heated pole barns and in the adjacent parking areas and farm fields
Sit-down lunch of Elaine’s famous Sloppy Joes, baked beans, cole slaw, stuffed peaches, etc. provided for a $5.00 donation
Featuring the display of the Suter Collection of over 325 motors and 8 boats (including Elaine’s 45 “micro” motors of less than 2HP and Mark’s 136 racing motors)… many new items since last year!
Huge flea market so clean out your basement and garage and bring those unwanted items to sell; find those needed winter projects
Protected & vented outdoor test tank available for running motors
Mark’s shop will be open for those that want to work on motors… tap attending "experts" for help in getting your problem motor running
Large show motor display with People’s Choice awards in 10 categories (including Best of Show)… bring your own stands
This meet will be huge (205 attendees last year)… there is plenty of room inside if the weather is inclement but we already have a beautiful day on order… you CAN’T MISS this one!
NO DOGS ALLOWED AT THIS MEET!

        Aeroliner Atending

Alan will be at this great meet with quite a few new engines that have not been on display in public. These include two loopers, the 60CI mod engine we ran at Hillsdale, the TX444DK, the 20H we built and ran at Hillsdale, along with other engines.
Wish I could be there but my wife had a bad bicycle accident in the mountains of Georgia with broken ribs and broken pelvis and have become cheif cook and bottle washer. I have a lot more respect for what she does for me now.
