  • FOUND NOW ! STOLEN July 31, 2010 - Help Needed

    Racing Family,

On Saturday, July 31, Amanda Hagerl Had a American Hot Rod stolen. She was racing the Top O' Michigan Marathon and broke down. Also stolen was a large helmet with a green #6 airbrushed on it and a pair of green chainsaw pants. The equipment was taken in Cheboygan, Michigan around 1:30pm. There are not serial number of the Hot Rod but, the motor does have an oil line on the right side of the motor. I'll attach a picture of anther motor we have done this to. If any information please contact Don Hagerl (231) 529-6579 or (231) 330-2431

I have moved the picture of the complete engine down to post #4 so that I could put this on latest news. We are seeing far to many thefts of expensive equipment. Please let me know if you have something stolen lets be sure that everyone watches out for it. - Mrs. Blueskyracer

To whomever stole this engine, just know that there are hundreds if not thousands of people watching for you! You will get caught! :bond:

              Don,
Craig Weinstein is still looking for his 15 ci H-R that was given to you at Wakefield. Any idea when he will get it back?

There are some props that were not "misplaced" at this event as well.

Anyone with any information can post here, use the contact HR Web Master in the left hand bar or contact the owners of the missing equipment since they have left contact information here too.

You might want to send a note and photo to local marinas and small engine shops. If someone wants to use it for non racing purposes they might show up at someones service department looking for prop, parts or information about it.

Don't forget to check with the local recycling centers. I wouldn't put it past someone to take it apart and sell it for scrap so they can get some cash.

Hope you get the stuff back unharmed.

The motor was returned today around 1:30pm by a guy named Matt or Mike, didn't even accept the reward. Thank you everyone that was looking around the internet and other places.
