Kegs,
Happy Birthday old man. Have a great day. I drove the "April Fool" (a runabout) at Millville one time and finished both heats without hitting anyone or breaking something. Not surprisingly, everybody left me plenty of room in the first turn. See ya buddy,

A birthday worth mentioning. .
To those of you who weren't priviledged to wade through the muck of 1970's boat racing, Robert M. Keogler; a.k.a. "Tiny", "the human depth charge" joined the racing community with a splash... many splashes actually.
He generously served as a bouy at many of our local regattas.
And, surprisingly to many of his bankers and bond holders emerged as a winning competitor in D and 35 hydro frequently beating the likes of Eric Wolf, John Kavookjian, Larry Lister, Clark Maloof, Paul Difebo, Matt D'Agostino and Jack Neely.
Late in his career, he devoted himself to outboard mechanics. His attempt to develop a three rod, bearingless Mark 55H met with limited success. One of his engine building disciples, John Runne still competes with Keg's guiding philosophy: "less maintenance is less wear and tear on the motor and the borrowed tools."
Happy birthday Kegs!!broccoli
