      But I am wondering if the old adage holds true Red Sky at night sailors delight, red sky at morn sailors be warned. They are after all sailors!

        I bet a lot of folks back east would love to see a sunrise like this rather than the whilte fluff stuff they have had for so long.

            Right, you are! I can count the amount of times I've seen blue skies this season on one hand. Buuuuut, the snow DOES come in handy for some things.

                  I remember my Uncle Pete saying that, he sailed the Great Lakes for over 40 years

                    One more

                    Took the family to Golf Shores Alabama last week on vacation. Took this sunset picture our third day there. The high was 56. That was better than the 36 in Michigan that day.

                    By the way,Great, Great lakes picture !!
