    It seems that one of the racing family was killed in an accident last night.

    So sorry to hear this news especially during the arrival of the holiday season.

    He will be joining a long list of greats in the eternal race.

      I'm still in shock even though it's been several hours now. Marc you will be missed greatly. It won't be the same without you. So keep the throttle clamped and those pipes pulled up tight buddy. Nothing but Checkered Flags for you my friend.

        Devastating

        This is very difficult news to take in. Marc was a great guy, and our thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

              Wow. Such a shock to read about this. I'm deeply saddened about Marc's passing. I'll see you again one day dude. Race in Peace, Marc. Cheri, if you read this, please call me if theres anything I can do. Will never forget R58....

                Wow!!!!!!!!!!

                very hard to believe, since I just talked with Marc last week..................rest in peace buddy!!!!!!!

                PS: how in the hell can there be NO citations issued (as reported in the article) to the driver of the semi????

                    A Tragedy

                    This is incredibly shocking. I'm so sorry to hear about this. Marc was a great guy and will be missed by all of us.

                    I did speak to Lee Tietze this evening. He tells me that no services are planned at this point, so please keep Marc and his family in your thoughts and prayers.

                              Unbelievable! I didn't know Mark well, but always enjoyed talking with at the races. My thoughts are prayers are with his family.
