We're glad to hear that your surgery is over and you can start the recovery part. If we can help you in any way (except giving you the best props) we are there!

                Welllll.... Alex,
It looks like everyone down there in the armpit of our nation is ready and willing to assist with any and all needs you may have. It even looks like there's folks on the left coast who care. But, you can rest some more, Lisa,... you too, that the clean cool air up here in New England which would include the air here in the little town of Richmond.... yes, we would gladly welcome you, should your doctor recommend it. Moose, deer, ducks, turkeys, and oysters, clams, and fish, are here waiting to make you better.

Get Well... or get yer arse up heeah.

                    Report on the Big Guy

Spoke to Alex on the phone yesterday. Seems to be in really good spirits. Told me he was watching a car race. The way I have it figured he now can watch car racing, football, etc and be excused from any honey-do's. The bonus round is now he can tell AJ what to do and escape having to help. What a gig!

We wish Alex, Lisa, et all all the best and a quick return to normalcy - or as normal as boat racing families get!

Lisa sent a message today saying that Alex is going to be discharged this afternoon.

Thank you to everyone for all the wishes, prayers and support offered. It is appreciated and still may be called upon someday.

Thanks for the well wishes ! I'm finally home and healing slowly. The next couple of months will be a challenge. Home health care and physical therapy both start tomorrow...
