J motor price

I got the August Propeller today ( sat down and went cover to cover as usual )and noticed the price for the APBA converted Merc 15 has gone up again. The price is up $ 50.00 and the S&H is up $ 60.00 . I thaught there were a bunch of these " in stock " ? Has another batch been purchased? I have been thinking about another motor for Jack ,If these things are going up in price the return could be better than his 529 fund !!

The price increase reflects the cost of solid motor mounts. As the ad. notes, the motors now contain solid motor mounts. This was not the case in the past.

APBA does have about 20 motors in stock. However, the cost of shipping the motors to our members continues to rise.
