Saturday light rain and no wind, Sunday sunny and no wind, done racing at 3:45 pm. Thanks to all of those who attended and helped put on the race. it was a fun weekend.

Not to take away from the Rocket part, but I'm sure that's not safe Wasn't there some discussion about this type of driving a few years ago on here??? What do the referee's say/think about this?
And people think we can't see well in laydowns.....wowSattler Racing R-15

Great race site, good size course, and great weather on Sunday!
Thanks to the MRC/BSOA crew for a well run race!
As an added bonus, the race site is on the corner of 2 Interstates so a lot of people get some exposure to boat racing, even if it is only briefly. I had quite a few people stop me at work today to let me know they saw boats racing...many of them stopped by to watch the race.

Oh and, Mike, everytime I've driven a laydown. I can see great!

Jace is a little dude (sorry buddy!) and he is often really low in the boat. If I am not mistaken, he was just that low for a quick second at the finish line and someone happened to snap the picture at just that instant. I can assure you that Jace is a safe and responsible driver.
