Please help me welcome the new owners of HydroRacer.Net, Teresa and Mike Phillips of Thompson Falls, MT.

Teresa and Mike are the proud new owners of HydroRacer.Net effective immediately. Please bear with us while Teresa and I make the necessary changes behind the scenes and finish up the back end transfer work over the next few days.

Teresa and Mike are committed to keeping the site alive and should hit the ground running over the next few days. While I am no longer the official owner I will be helping behind the scenes to make sure that the transition goes as smooth as possible with very little interruption to the current content.

We are looking forward to being able to continue the site with no real changes as Dan has in the past. Think of us as her adoptive parents!

Please bear with me as I get my feet wet working in the shallows before I plunge in the deep end of the pool.

I am pleased to be able to contribute to the racing community in this way as there is no way you will ever find me in a race boat! I don't do "go fast"!

Hopefully we will get to do some traveling and meet some of you guys. Sorry to say although we tried to schedule it in we won't be able to make Nationals this year, perhaps in 2010 with some local races between now and then.

That is exactly how we felt. I bet there are a few folks out there that were greatly helped with getting started in this sport by using Hydroracer for answers to a massive amount of questions. There is so much racing knowledge on the site it could not be lost forever.

We are late bloomers but hope to help everyone that we can.

Dan I have the utmost respect for the way you handled this. Many times in this type of a situation nothing would have been shared with the users until it was a done deal. Yet you showed enough respect for us the users to let us know ahead of time what was going to happen one way or the other. For that I thank you.
