  • Thank God I made it home from work tonight

I was on the train directly ahead of this wreck heading home from work this evening. The scary part is that I always sit in the first car right behind the drivers area.

Dan, I bet you are still shaking. Glad that by whatever fluke you had good timing. I always have the same feeling of helplessness whenever a disaster like this occurs. - Tim Chance

      Hey Tim,

Yes very scary to think that I had been goofing off at work and left just a few minutes later then I did I would have been on one of the trains. Looks like I will not be sitting in the first car anymore

Several folks lost their lives today on the train directly behind me, your comment is a bid in bad taste. I usually sit in the car where most of the fatalities occurred today and would have been sitting in that car had I missed the train I got on.

Truly a mess. Glad you weren't on that train, Dan.

                Dan,

Glad you are home safe and sound. Thank goodness you rode the train you did! Sometimes it pays dividends to do eight and the gate my friend.

Yes any negative comments are in bad taste.
Me and my four sons have a simple saying when situations like this happens to one of us. PULL THE PIPE,
So Dan glad you chose the right train and now go pull the pipe.

I saw that on the news.
I take the commuter train too (to Boston). I never sit in the first car!
                    Glad you're OK.

Everyone needs to give their families a big hug! You never know when it might be your time to go.

Our thoughts and prayers are with those who lost loved ones in the crash and with those who have suffered injuries.
