  • Lights, I fixed Quicktime error

Anyone else have a problem with Quicktime on HR.net giving an error message that says components are missing or additional software is needed? And when you click on continue or fix issues, everything locks up!

I was having no problems on my work PC, (the home PC has had QT issues for a while now), I installed an iTunes & QT update at work, now all of a sudden I get the same error message. I removed Quicktime, and alls fine at work, so I try this when I got home, and it fixed the issue, I can watch videos on HR.net now. I don't know if this will effect any of my other video viewing, but I can watch the embedded vids on HR now.

    Me!

I've had the same problem, with all my PC's, Vista or XP. For months. I even upgraded the browser on my laptop to Internet Exploder Ate. Same deal.

So I took QuickTime off and HRTV is back. Thanks for the tip!

      Had the same problem

I had/have the same problem and tried exactly the same thing. It is not a itunes issue. You need to install adobe flash player, that will fix the whole thing.

Not iTunes, Quicktime. I have Adobe Flash Player 10 Plugin and Adobe Flash Player 10 Active X, both version 10.0.22.87, this problem existed with Adobe for me.

              without Quicktime...

Mike, does this mean we'll actually be able to see you move now, as opposed to the blur we usually see?
