  • Lou Witham Services

Lou's service will be held on this Saturday in Greenwood Indiana at the Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens funeral home. We will be gathering for the "drivers meeting" from 10:00 until the services at 11:30. After the services, all are invited to stay around and share stories and memories with each other. In keeping with his two favorite drinks, coffee and chocolate milk will be served.

Lou had stressed that he didn't want anything fancy or big, but to any who know him, he deserves that and a whole lot more. Through this whole time we have been overwhelmed by meeting more and more local people who he simply had a huge impact on. While he can seem rough on the edges and come off as gruff, he had a heart bigger than any you will find. The comments that I've heard are a testament to that.

I apologize to the Trolian's with the conflict of dates, but unfortunately with scheduling, it is what it is. We will be thinking of your loss and feeling your pain at the same time. It is simply unbelievable to loose two such great guys at the same time.

Here is a link to the funeral home with directions at the bottom.

Thanks again for all the kind notes and calls.

      Driver's meeting

      Steve,
Where is the "Driver's meeting" being held? I'm going to try and attend. I'll be in Alexandria in the afternoon. But I'm hoping to pay my respects to "Sweet" Lou in person.

      Later,
      Dudley

        Witham gathering

Sorry about the ambiguity. The "drivers meeting" will simply be fellowship at the Forest Lawn funeral home before the service at 11:30.

        Thanks for pointing this out.

        Steve
