Whats even is worst is that it almost cleared the catch fence I wonder how many fans that were sitting right there at the site of impact had soiled shorts scary!

Dear God if that car had of gone through the catch fence

      Dega is awesome.......

Amazing that only eight were injured in the crowd and two were transported. That white cloud was boiling hot coolant!
Christine and I have tickets for the fall race and can hardly wait to see the place for the first time. Glad the tickets are up high!
Carl Edwards (Ricky Bobby) is unbelievable. For those of you on Facebook, add him as a friend. He started posting everyday himself last week and it has been really interesting.
He posted a short video of himself in the motorhome just after the wreck and he looked a little cross eyed.
Due to his sportsmanship, he and the duck now have a loyal fan.

I have been to Lowes a few times now and we always sit up high plus its cheaper the only thing I don't like is the eight hours it takes to get out of the parking lot.

One of the years we went to Dega we stayed just to see how long it took to get the cars out of there. It was around 10 PM before you could just drive out without stopping at all.
At Lowe's we always spent the night after the race for the same reason.

I find it somewhat amusing that he said he drove the smartest race he could...
              Well maybe
I understand that forcing someone to go below the yellow MAY result in a penalty. While going below the yellow WILL result in a penalty(DQ)
if you try to force someone below the yellow line they WILL hold their place. As this driver has found out. its a good thing no one died while he learned this lesson. But i would have hated to see that car get a couple more feet in the air. The result would have been horrific.

His quote saying he drove the smartest race he could was not about the finish, it was all about the first 186 laps, staying in the back and staying out of trouble. Anyone that follows NASCAR sees this kind of finish too many times at "plate" races, hence the yellow line rule. And now more rules....?
