I took these pics today. I thought it was kind of cool the way they did this.

We pump everything here. Those are big rock pumps, usually use them for room edition slabs, foundation slabs, building walls, and retaining walls/

If we can ever teach the people in southern California how to properly build a house, we will use them for basement walls as well.

Holy Cow, the leverage has to be seriously insane.

ummmmm, whats a basement? I live in FL

Most of FL water table is at 5 ft, no basements here. Good thing land is cheap, you can still buy 1 acre for 5k-7k in most of North FL anyways.

In Florida there is a legitimate reason for not having a basement. In California, it is because people have become complacent and let builders get away with giving lame excuses why there are no basements.

Someone who works at a pump company told me once they weigh 70,000. Most of them here have outriggers so they can put the boom at a 90° to the truck body.

Do you guys have front loader trucks like they use in the midwest? We don't have those here but they make perfect sense to have.

They use those pump trucks all of the time up here in Minnesota. They also have the front loaders as well. Skoontz, do you build keystone walls? That is what I do for a living we've done 5 sqft walls to 50,000 square foot walls. It's hard work but all worth it when one of those big projects are finished.

                memories

I did that for a summer in college! Good lord did that suck, especially in seattle. Raining one day, next day 90degrees! Probably the best i've looked in a mirror that summer though!

                  Concrete Pumps

Yeah, Concrete Pumps are way cool they use them all over around here especially in hard to reach area's like over houses, or doing ICF foundation houses.
