Will attempt to add a couple afternoon jaunts to a local ski resort from my new digital video camera.
First part (Kind'a cornie but hey?
)......will be the author (ME/FRENCHIE 
) on a afternoon off with annual leave/vacation from the high stress conditions of my job (that I love) at the US Post Office Garage/VMF, and first time out on skis since 1996.....in camo shorts .........
This section took place on a warm (for around hear) 50 degree early evening, (6pm-close) the Monday before St. Patricks's Day.
With,...the ungranted hopes of seeing a few ....bakinies (Speel Chek)!
The second part of the video will be Late afternoon today/Friday, when I went over to check out the sled races that I heard were going to be at PEEK-N PEAK Resort Conference Center http://www.mapquest.com/maps?1c=Find...:d::25::::1:/e .........(zoom out to git better idea where "THE PEEK" is located)...........between Erie, Pa. and Findley Lake, NY..............and on the same slopes that I ski,.....
I had my Boat Race'n kevlar and helmet in my truck camper from Charlie Fry's "Fun-Run" ..https://hydroracer.net/forums/showthread.php?t=14511 ....and as I walked around the pits with my helmet in my Three Rivers 2002 AMH/25MOD high points helmet bag, (with Region 6, 25MOD high point patches on the bag) to show off to the sled racers that were set up at the bottom of the same ski area that I had ski'd a couple weeks ago, I thought how COOL it would be to catch a ride on one of these!
After ask'n around, someone noticed my APBA "Flamed" jacket and said Stan Fitts was a boat racer and was on his way as a owner/promotor.
After meet'n Stan Fitts and a few inquiries on how to enter, I entered in the "over 18, Trail/beginner 600 class",....and went TEST'N (they call it "practice")........ with an EXTREME SKI-DOO 600,..... SNOWMOBILE
,....... that I will attempt to compete with........ this Sunday!!!!
