  • Exciting News: APBA J Scholarship

EXCITING NEWS: WE NOW HAVE AN APBA J SCHOLARSHIP.
Thanks to many people who jumped on board with Sheri Runne and Jill Glossner.

Thank you to the Historical Society who has agreed to contribute to the scholarship.

The scholarship will be awarded on a yearly basis, in the amount of $1,000 to a member of APBA based on the following criteria: Must be a current a APBA member, must have raced & scored points in the J category, must write an essay stating why they think they are eligible and what APBA did to enhance their lives and two references. Age requirement 25 or younger. Deadline for applications will be Jan. 1, 2012. More details can be faxed or emailed to you. At some point the application will be on the APBA website but in the meantime we can send you what you need. Please contact Sheri Runne (srunne3@verizon.net) or Jill Glossner (jglossner@comcast.net) with any questions.

If you would like to donate to the scholarship, you can do so by sending a check to the Historical Society and mark for J Scholarship.

Thank you again to everyone who made this possible.

Please donate to the J Scholarship so we can keep the scholarship moving forward. We have been able to donate to several young adults over the past few years. Please help us to keep this going. All donations can be sent to APBA,(J Scholarship) P.O. Box 477, Eastpointe, MI 48021-0377. Thank you. Sheri Runne & Jill Glossner
