At least it is too cold to snow there. we just got about 3 feet of snow over the last two days. We are right on the NYS trail, the trails are all groomed and it is snowmobile mayhem here. Sounds like a bee hive outside.

We've got over a foot of snow on the ground; it snowed from Friday afternoon until Sunday night. Then rained for a nice sheet of ice on top!

          I had to do this....

53° all night, will hit 70° today, but might rain. Sky is gray today, great weather to take landscape and neon hydro pictures in.

            Hello Twisted Sister!
Quit complaining! Here a few shots of my last visit to Boston; tied up at General Ship in South B. (Last year... maybe two years ago.) Boston always seems cold to a Yankee fan!

            Hope all is well.

I know we're just pikers up here when it comes to winter weather (we specialize in earthquakes ), but we've been in the twenties since Friday night, and have 8 inches of snow, topped by a quarter inch of ice, and then another six inches of snow - and it's still snowing. Hasn't been a storm like this since the seventies. Hey - anybody ever used an A hydro as a snow sled?

PS: yes, that is an old Merc 1000 sitting by the shop door with the snow build up!

Back in our younger days, we used to pull an old 20 hydro around behind a snowmobile over at the old Brewster Racing Headquarters. Nothing like airing it out down the backstretch but it was a nightmare to turn. More often than not, we barrelrolled during the whip phase of the turn into the snow with a 150lbs boat trying to run you over. I think the last time we stuffed it after going over a jump - or at least that is the story. I don't remember much of that day.

                        Good times.

lol I would rather walk though 18 inches of snow than have an inch of ice covering everything. The snow is alot softer and provides better traction than ice.
Gene have you taken any pictures of the ice?

I couldn't figure out how to propel the boat! (Gene looked at me very strangely when i suggested it last year)
