I'm so sorry to hear of your father's passing. It's a life changing experience. You suddenly realize that you are now "alone" and don't have Dad to fall back on. All my best to you, Russ, and to your family. Time seems to heal what you are going through. Jack
The words you folks have expressed mean a great deal to our family.
Many people from the racing family had been sending e-mails and calling. Those communications made Dad smile. I had intended in the initial post to pass along some of Dad's sentiments and pass along his thanks. I was unable to do it at the time and now find myself unable yet again.
Eventually I hope to be able to compose myself long enough to say what he wanted said.
You guys made such a positive difference in Dad's final days!
THANK YOU!

So sorry to hear of your fathers passing. You will always think about him and he will always be just behind your shoulder watching over you. Mine has been gone 20 years and it is just like yesterday I was watching him race his KG7 merc on a BSUtility 50 years ago. Just remember he is at peace.
Sincerely

Russ.. our thoughts are with you and your family for your Dad.
Who knows what we did in our previous life or what we'll be called upon to do next. All we can do in this world today is our best.. for our family, our friends, those less fortunate, and most of all, for this great country in which we are so fortunate to live.
Stand tall.
