  • Hurricane Panic

Looks like we are getting a storm this week. I went to the store yesterday to get a pecan pie for me and the dog and could hardly move around the aisles. People were rushing the bread, water, peanut butter and battery shelves. I didn't want to miss the fun so I decided to grab supplies as well just in case, even though our house has a "hurricane cupboard" still stocked from last year. The dog and I will dine on 2 cases of cherry pop-tarts, 20 cans of sardines, and 10 lbs. of peanuts and 20 lbs. of Ol' Roy Dinner Rounds dog food. The gas stations were packed with people as well.
Regardless of where this thing hits you guys call if you need anything. My family is safe and sound in N.Y. so the dog and I are available to help.

They are saying possibly a category 1 by Tuesday morning.

          path model

If Ol' Fay takes the blue "SHIP" path it will go over Nuccio's, Brand's, Selewach's, Long's, Fronce's, LaDoux's, Waterson's, Kiddy's, Lee's, Carter's and many others. Maybe we better send all the racing stuff to Nic's house. Then again, if it takes the other paths it could hit most of us, including Nic!

                  Hey Nic,
If this thing really hits I have sardines and pop tarts, what have you stocked up on? We could have a region 5 Hurricane party. I'll bring a guitar if you can bring Bob 47-F

                  They updated the model again.

                    Russ,

This thing looks to be coming up the Western corridor right through Brooksville on its way to us up in Ocala. Stay safe.

The links I posted are periodically updated by the news channel.
It looks like no matter which line it takes we are in for a ride. Hopefully it won't be too bad.

I have 4 boats stuffed in the big trailer and that is tucked in behind the house. Tomorrow my neighbor will help me put the other ones in the dining room.

No point in posting my home number because if the power goes out so does the digital phone.

My cell is 352-279-0801 If anybody needs anything try my cell if the towers are working.

I'll be missing the fun. Flying out tomorrow on a 3 day. It's always a little stressful at this house---we have over 100 BIG oak trees. We do however have a generator. So if you need some cold beer let me know. I will PM my # to you. Good luck!!!!! Shea

Have a safe flight! Your husband knows where I am if he needs anything.
This thing will probably fade away before it gets to us, I hope.

Those Terzinskis are having another great year! You must be proud!

                            Thanks for the offer.

Yea, hubby knows where to find you. Forgot if the phones are out--you don't have our address. I'll pm it to you. Thanks for kind words on Bro's. Honestly, they aren't doing so well this year. For the first time in 4 years Lars won't make it to high points. The new motors have been giving them problems. They'll be busy this winter. Still proud of them no matter what!!! We have a pretty awesome family!!! Stay safe!
