            Ava Says "Hi"

Ava has already learned how to waive "hello".

                        Ed' not drunk . . .

He has that new father look. Worked all day, settles down with a brew and slice of pizza to catch some B-ball on the tube and the Little Woman goes "OOHHH!" "Whazzup?" goes Ed. Labor pain, sez she. Now the drill begins - a few hours of hyperwait and then the rush to the hospital, where the real wait begins. Towards the end of the long, painful birthing procedure the Little Woman verbally abuses Daddy and may even threaten to forcefully from him remove certain body parts neccessary for reproduction.

It's okay now - sort of. Ed is proudly holding his beautiful baby girl and his *look* is happy fatigue - not drunk. And his tired brain is wondering if he should race home and hide all sharp objects that could be used to render him a eunich

Congrats, Ed - pretty baby - must take after her mother
