Seeing as how I can't sleep due to the wonderful sensation in my leg I just visited Google earth. I typed in directions from Stockton Ca. to Jesup GA., zoomed in, lowered the angle and hit the fly button. It looks like an interesting ride. Google calculates it as approximately 45 hours of driving.
I just paid $3.89 a gallon for diesel Saturday in Lakeland, and can't imagine how many gallons a trip like this would take.

Rick & Mamma, you folks are dedicated!! Can't wait to see you guys!!

Hey Tony, does Rick or Mamma have their laptop with them? If not I will let them use mine at Jesup so they can make some posts about the trip over here. Should be interesting.

Well We Are At The Texas Boarder. New Mexico Went Well Untill The Snow Storm. Wow What A Mess.


We Will Be There By Friday. Nothing Is Going To Bring Us Down.

The Snow Was Pretty Cool As I Got To Talk With Greg Lyons On The Phone About The Storm, This Cail Boy Doesnt Drive In The Snow. It Took 5 Hour To Go 125/150 Miles . Almost Like The First Turn, Cant See And Must Hold Your Lane.lol

Eastbound and Down

An update-
Just as if driving and weather made the trip interesting enough, they pulled into a gas station learly this morning to find someone who needeed help. The station was closed, but the pumps would take a credit card. Someone had been sitting there for nearly 5 hours, out of gas. Birdman took care of them, both are back on the road.

They just got into Arkansas. & its sowings again Rick said "birds fly south for the winter and its snow there?" a couple more hours and there going 2 take a nap. 600miles to go.

P.s. the only reason Rick is going to Jesup is to help the fellow boat racer. I think he mainly help me?
