    Kathy and Kevin Mallalieu,
Boat Racers are all special people. But in reading these posts for Bob, He must have been extra special.
I remember him from the 70's and 80"s when Shawn and I were still racing.

    Our condolences to your family,
    Barbara & Bob Keogler

Bob was a big part of our family. He was always there to lend a hand. He did so much for us, and the racing community. He was always laughing, or telling a story, and definitely kept people on their toes. He was just a happy guy. I'm really going to miss his laugh and his smile. At least we know Heaven won't be boring! May he rest in peace. Kathy, Kevin, and Family.. please know that we are all here for you during this difficult time. If you need anything, please reach out to your racing family.

What a tremendous loss. Bob's sense of humor and quick wit were an absolute gift. Who else could be announcing a race, watch a CSR flip, and have the spectators convinced that the driver had hit a rare fresh water sea turtle? I will always remember the wind delay at Crystal Lake when Bob did a special dance on the picnic table to Bo Didley. One winter the Fishers Landing Racing Club wanted to enter a boat in the Christmas Parade in Clayton. Bob unknowingly volunteered his runabout that was stored at Scott Reeds. I put "Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays" on it with red & green vinyl lettering along with vinyl candy canes and bells. Bob's face was priceless when Scott ran it at Norwood with all the lettering still on it. I think it stayed that way for a few years and Bob always laughed whenever he saw it and took every opportunity to do a comedy routine about it when he was announcing.
Bob was an outstanding individual and a true friend to boat racing. He will be very deeply missed. Thank you Bob for all the laughs, and conversations.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Mallalieu family. Thank you for sharing him with us.

Ya, I remember that boat...It was run like that for a few years...
I always loved going to Crystal Lake, one of the few races i got to see Bob each year, always a story to be told, a laugh to be shared.
          He will be missed.

Bob Mallalieu will be missed . . .

I'll always remember his smile and wicked sense of humor. I think the only time I saw referee Bob semi-serious was when he quizzed my son prior to the lad's first race. I say semi-serious because soon as Jeff dashed back to his boat Bob gave me (nervous dad) that smile.

Condolences to the Mallalieu family . . .

              Where does one begin........

              To my friend..
I will miss you more than words can ever express. To have known and been friends with someone like you made me a better person. To have been able to learn this sport from you helped me to become a better announcer, and I thank you.
To have been able to call your last races was a pleasure even though you still did not finish three laps. I will always remember your smile and laugh and how you made every race a better one. Rest in peace my friend and remember that I love you!! To Kathy, Kevin, and Donna, you have our deepest sympathies and love. You were always there for us...now it's our turn. Call if you need anything.

                Condolences

I only met and spoke with Bob a few times as Lock Haven but that was all it took to understand what a genuine and funny person he was.

I will add the Mallalieu family to our prayers this week. I am very sorry for your loss.

                    Bob will be missed

Every year when driving to a race I think of the people I look forward to seeing again when we get there. Bob was always one of the first people I thought of seeing him again and the thought would make me smile and feel good inside. We will miss you deeply.

The Young family send their condolences to the Mallalieu's. Rest in Peace!

We were so hopeful that Bob would pull through this and we would see his smiling face in the pits once again. I am thinking of you and your family Kevin and I wish I could be with you during this tough time.

Speaking for the entire Fuller Family I want to send our condolences to the entire Mallalieu. We were shocked and very sorry to hear of your loss. We will always remember Bob as one of those special people that made "just hanging in the pits on a Saturday Night" the best place in the world to be. Having him on the mic put the "color" in color commentating. We will all miss him dearly.

Cathy and Kevin our prayers and thoughts are with you.
