Dad's not doing really well right now. He is heavily sedated, and has been in an induced coma since getting to the hospital after falling saturday night. Despite that, he had been able to respond to verbal commands to move his arms and legs, but due to yesterday's findings they have increased his sedative which will most likely keep him from being able to respond. Tuesday's CAT scan showed that he had suffered a Cerebellum stroke (real similar to what mom had happen two weeks ago). It's unclear whether that caused his fall or is a result of the injuries. The Dr's were not too concerned with that, but the his lungs are showing signs of possible pneumonia so they started treating him for that with antibiotics. He was running a 101 fever at noon, by 5:00pm it was at 100. So, now the lungs and fever are the main focus. I'll try to post updates, but I may have to ask Worm to relay info.
Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers. It all defintely helps.
Kevin we will be happy to keep everyone updated. As you know your dad is very special to us and to many many people. We are praying, praying, praying. Love you. Sheri
