If you are super insider Merc fan you know about Merc's "Where Used Book". It is a special parts list set up in reverse. In a normal Merc parts list you look under each motor and find a list of parts for that motor. The Where Used Book is the opposite. If you have the part number of a particular piece ... maybe you have a pile of loose parts and you hope that some fit motors that you have but can't tell without taking the motor apart ... instead you look up the part number in the Where Used Book and it tells you which motors that part is used on.
My offer ... if someone can loan an unbound copy or is willing to let me separate the pages, I have the resources to digitize it and have a place where it can be hosted on line. The digitized version would be completely searchable, even reverse.
The digitized version would be an even more powerful resource than the paper version is due to the increased searchbility. I'll even embed the loaner's name in it as a memorial thank you ... everyone will always know who they owe their thanks to when using the digitized version
