  • A new years challenge to all the men of HR

With 2007 coming to a close most of guys here at HR have been fortunate enough to be in good heath during the past year while a few of our members have been taken away from us due to illness.

My challenge to all HR men is to make sure you have a complete physical before the racing season starts for 2008. Even if you don't have insurance make an appointment at your local clinic and pay cash, its money that might save your life in the long run if something is detected.

I wish everyone a safe and happy new year, make sure your around for many more schedule that doctors appointment first chance you get and don't put it off.

    Good Call

I am in, so long as I can get the appointment. Hve to book these way in advance. I really hate when the doctor checks the "bore"!!!

Destiny is a matter of chance,it is a matter of choice; it is not a thing to be waited for, it is a thing to be achieved.

        I'll get a well baby check . . .

soon as I land decent health coverage. COBRA sez my coverage expires tomorrow, but my health plan sez I'm still "active." ??? And some folks think the feds could screw up health plans more than it is now?

We should add Women to the challange as well. What's the male/female ratio on the judges stands? Without the girls, we're dead in the water . . .

            Amen for Men AND Women!

And...for all of you, particularly if you have a history of eye problems in your family...get checked for glaucoma. It's out there and there are some super good tests to catch it early and good drugs to control it.

Tough to outrun old age if you can't see to drive a fast boat!

              Best Health Coverage

              I use Psalm 91.

At age 55 I have needed NO so called "Benifits" from anyone.

I am in to "Wellness" not "Sickness". Try it, it is the best deal around.

                Thanks Dan

Thanks Dan, it is all your fault!
I was at the eye doctor today. Now I need bi-focals.
No wonder I couldn't read the ticket I got for the stop sign I missed.

Seriously though, your advice is sound.
