  • Winter Wonderland

Well now, Many yeaers have certianly passed since South Eastern Wisconsin schools closed for something like snow, and then all of a sudden, TWO years IN A ROW, classes are called off for the white fluffy stuff. 'Tis a beautiful thing indeed, no classes, massive, palm-sized snowflakes falling in every which direction, 5 ft icicles hanging off the buildings, and that peaceful, wintery quiet in the streets. A wonderful time to be outdoors!

          Couldn't Agree More

The part about being outdoors in the quiet winter wonderland is spectacular.

Wish we had more snow, we only have a few inches. Maybe an invasion into WI is in order........

Temp was in the 80's today when we went tree shopping. $150 for a 7' tree
Sure do miss walking out behind the house in knee deep snow and cutting my own. Christmas lights reflecting off the snow is another thing we miss. I have to say I am jealous of all you snow covered people. The kids got out the photo album and looked at pictures of their Arctic Cats that are in storage and pictures of tubing at the ski area.
Maybe someday we will get transferred north.

We just got put on a tornado watch through the night. Yeehah.
