Never been to another one as none has been able to put on a better show!

Well Jimi O. has all the luck. Darren the only problem Jimi has is that he loaned his Muncie CD to me and I haven't returned it. Ryan the concert was unbelievable, that was one of the reasons we moved to Wa.????!!!!! You got me so motivated that I dug out my old LP's, the only problem is I haven't had a turntable working for 10 years. Yeah the 911 is great. 2-10's, 2-15's, 2-6x9,s, 2-6 1/4's, 3 amps, 2 caps. The only thing is I need is a trailer hitch on it, then I can tow my 45 to the races, stereo bumping heavy at 150 MPH

'What is a led zeppelin ?????????/ A Hindenberg try to make weight??????"

My understanding of the story is as foloows: When Jimmy Page and Robert plant were forming the band, Keith Moon (The Who) made a remark that the band would fly "like a lead balloon". It was from this that they named the band Led Zeppelen. Their manager Peter Grant said Americans were "too thick" to pronounce it right, they would say lead (as in "leed"), so the band dropped the "a" to make "Led".

              Jimi O.
Now that I have most of my honeydoos done I think we should put a rock crushing system in your old Datona. I think an addition of at least 4-15" subs, new deck, 4 amps and 4-8" 3-ways. What do you think?

By the way John M. Jimi O. said I was the only one he could get in, but I would have to pay my own airfare to England (where they are playing) and make him a dozen 20,C,and OSY props!!

                        Zep of the day!

If you’re old and have heard Dazed and Confused a million billion times, just watch the DRUMMER! His son Jason will have to live up to this come concert time (38 years later)……

If you’re young, well, we’ll just have to live and learn.

                        Hope the utube link works!

Only 9 min., that's just the short version. I definetly agree that Jason has a lot to live up too in replacing his father. If you really want to see John Bonham at his best, you have to see him play Moby Dick on "The Song Remains the Same", which is being re-released on DVD sometime very soon, maybe the same day at the show in England. What I thought was really impressive in this Dazed and Confused video was watching John Paul Jones on bass during the instrumental. He is unbelievable. Interesting side note, "The Song Remains the Same" was filmed over three nights at MSG in 1973, and my dad was there one of those nights!!

                            cool video

but I like it better when Page plays His Gibson les Paul ( it has a deeper warmer tone)...I for one don't think Jason will have any troulbe living up to his old man.....He's quite good !

                              Nice link

I was kind of chuckling watching Bonham, I've never seen a drummer go after his kit like he was mad at it before
