Are the hydro boat plans top secret or have I just been looking in the wrong places? What hydro class or is there really one? I am looking for picklefork plans preferably, but want to get started with something.

I believe our host, Montana Race Craft, has plans for various classes.

Thanks for the links, i am looking for more of what class the Cal-Ore River Racers run. I know they are busy this weekend with a race tomorrow. I could talk to my brothers uncle, Angelo(Gino)Benetti, but i wanted to see what i could find out for myself.

The river racers run an APBA special event class called 'Outboard River Racer'. They have there own set of rules accepted by APBA. Go to www.caloreriverracers.org and follow the google sites link.

That would be great...if i had the money for it. Is it bad luck to change a boats number, like changing a ships name? Lol

Anyone want to share their experience/opinion on the different styles of hydros for river racers? Pros, cons, your choice? I like the look of the picklefork, but just curious if there any big differences.
