There are two schools of thought concerning boat racing photos.

1. The photo MUST always contain the entire boat from the point of the bow to the roostertail. Anything less than that is a bad photo.

2. Artistic expression is allowed and the photographer may crop at will to add drama and excitement to the picture. Or perhaps the entire boat may not have been in frame to begin with. On purpose. Kinda.

I hope there are fans here of both schools.

Through the website you can purchase either the digital file for $15 or an 8” x 10” for $15.00 plus postage.

You’ll notice the original isn’t cropped as tight as the one posted on hydroracer. Hey look - there >>is<< a fin!

If you buy the digital file you can do your own cropping. If you buy a print I can do the exact crop as seen on hydroracer.net or crop it to your liking and send you samples via email.

A little rough

More boats built like that and we wouldn't have to cancel everytime it gets a little "puffy". It reminds me of some races at West End Boat Club, in Chester, PA.
