These are from Warden Lake in Eastern Washington.(Except the bank shot of Ashley and Mike's runabout is at Moses Lake) Ashley and Colin Rucker carrying on a huge family tradition. I Guess Ruthie knows now how Ma Pen felt all those years!

Colin Rucker.....A Family Tradition

I'm OLD, and I won't be labor the point....I see my dad, in my son, Chad Hill, everyday....

Billly Jack Rucker, Sr. was one of the GREATEST Outboard drivers ever. His son, Billy Jack Rucker Jr., showed the world HOW GOOD he was when he won the SST 120 Worlds, about two years ago, when he was 55 plus....

I went to the Stock/Mod Divisionals in Oregon, last June, as I watched all the races, in awe, I noticed little Colin Rucker...he was running one of his first races....but he sat in the boat like Billy Jack Rucker, Sr. did...and when he came around the corners, he "HOPPED" like ONLY BILLY JACK RUCKER SR. did. There is no way he knew this move, only from nature, did he know the move that his GRANDFATHER made....(Flash backs to 1966 when Billy Jack Rucker Sr. ran D Racng Hydro)....

I have to admit, watching this young man drive....I felt lucky to see him, wishing that his GRANDPA could have seen him... Between the Rautenbergs, and Ruckers there is some serious TALENT.....

ADD: AND I DO THINK THEY SPELL COLIN WITH ONE "l"...WHY??

Colin with one L.....why? Not sure, I guess that was the first listing in the book....hee hee.....I hear from another Colin it is the original Irish spelling, with one L but who the heck knows, just thought I would torture him for the rest of his life in allowing people to mispronounce it.

And yes, we are working on getting Grandpa to see them race, we tried at Oroville but for some crazy reason there aren't any J's in Northern Cal.....

The answer to this is easy. They all turned 12 and as soon as we changed restrictors and they ran AXH, they all said the J was "Too Slow".
