Jerry he ran last year with the same boat and won. He was the returning Champion this year. He had a mechanical problem on day one and won the second day. When he left on Sunday he said he would like to sell the boat he ran. This boat is a great marathon boat for a 25 driver. Boat was 11 ft and is a show piece. Someone who would like a great marathon boat or maybe a good B mod should give him a call. Mikemike rossComment

Is this a new boat he built just for the Marathon? Where's he living now? Any chance he'd come back to SO? How cool would that be? It's been a long time since the Merc Challenge days when Bob would go testing with us while he was at Kent St. Haven't seen him in years.

Wow! The cover photo of ASR 19M has got to be one of the greatest racing pictures I've ever seen! Even though it is near the lower end of the 'speed scale' it projects more excitement than a boat going three times as fast.Comment
