Here’s an example of why I fret whether or not to crop and tweak photos before posting them for public viewing.
The photo on the left is what you’ll see when you view it on our website. Batch uploads of original, unretouched, photos to the website are quick. And it’s natural for folks to want to see photos from a recent race as soon as possible.
The photo on the right is the same photo but has been cropped and tweaked. But cropping and tweaking is time consuming and tedious, even when part of the process is somewhat automated.
How would you describe the difference?
