    the caption on this photo read "Doug Tenzler won all the races he entered in his FIRST YEAR with his new Jones." the thing I love about this pic is the look on this guy's face. he is DRIVING this thing!!

    1975 Dayton out in front and clean...a little over 100mph...this is a 1964 Ron Jones cabover 145 ci hydro...a kneel down inboard...I still have this boat. restoration should be completed this summer. Credit Phil Kunz for the pic

    And cannot believe this pic was not posted before.
    Tim Butts, the builder driver of this 700 hydro, used to hang them high like this for laps at a time. Wide open, pipes up, 115+ mph coining the phrase: Butts Aerowing--The only way to fly!
