Spanaway: Right Place, Right Time

Last weekend, there was a two day race at Spanaway, WA hosted by Tacoma Inboard Racing Association. In addition to it being the Western Inboard Divisionals, selected outboard classes were also run.

But the BEST part of the weekend (besides sun and temperatures in the 80s) was the late day sun and the photo opportunities it created. Here's a small collection of photos from both days of racing, all of which were shot between 5 and 7 pm.

Nice pictures, my son a corporate pilot happened to be flying over at 4000 feet and saw what he said were three small boats racing. I told him where the race was taking place and he said that it was neat to see from the air.
